| Brazilian Wedding Customs | Very interesting wedding tradition in Brazil is that the groom has to subdue an unruly donkey. In such way he should to prove his worth as a responsible husband. The Brazilians called this custom as Bumba-Meu-Boi. This custom appears only in some parts of Brazil.
 Dance and merriment are a part of Brazil marriage ceremony. There are traditional dances as the one-note samba. One can see many varieties of samba dance or ‘pagoda’ as it is often called, for the special occasion called marriage. After the Brazil wedding ritual, it is the party time. This wedding party is called as ‘padrinhos’. One can see three couples of bridesmaid and the groomsmen lined up on both the sides. This is an interesting tradition and all will love watching this. Latin song and dance is the common features in such ‘padrinhos’ as the Brazilian wedding is also influenced by the Latin American traditions. Brazilian song by Vinicius de Morais or the national anthem is sung to commemorate the auspicious occasion of marriage at Brazil.
On the first night the groom must pick the bride up to walk in to the new house or a hotel room holding her in his arms and step inside with the right foot.
The tradition Brazil marriages are very colorful and interesting. People there are very warm and quite friendly. And so one should physically go there and attend a typical Brazil wedding ceremony to feel it.
