 Very often planning a honeymoon takes one of the last places when planning your wedding. But it’s not fairly. Wedding ceremony is more for your close and distant relatives and friends, when honeymoon is indeed for newly-made couple. It’s time to have a rest, relax and enjoy each other.

1. Honeymoon Budget
At first you’d rather estimate your honeymoon budget. When planning a wedding sit down and calculate all expenses not to start your new family with a bulk of new debts.
2. Where to Go on Your Honeymoon
Think of where both of you would like to go, what to do and then decide what place to choose. Such questions will help you to clarify the situation:
≈ You want some warm or cold place (e.g. relax on a beach or ski in mountains)
≈ You want to go far away or close to home?
≈ You want to visit a new unknown place or some place you’ve already been?
≈ You want to rest at resort with another people to socialize with, or place secluded for only two of you?
≈ You want to go in a city with museums, restaurants and nightlife or, with lots of athletic activities available or, may be you want to be in unexplored wilderness?
≈ You just want to spend a lot of time in the room.
3. When to Go and For How Long
You need to consider how many vacation days both of you have. Think thoroughly when you’d like to leave for honeymoon: the morning after wedding or you need a bit more time to pack your luggage. May be after wedding you want to rest only several days not going far away and then you’ll have a long second honeymoon on your first anniversary.
4. Learn More about Where You’re Going
It’s nice (even more it’s very important) to know more about a place you go before you’ve arrived there. Using Internet, Travel book or Guide you can be aware of main outstanding places to go, customs you need to be a “dear quest” and not to offend somebody of residential population.
5. Consider Visiting a Travel Agent
Today booking travel online is widely spread. You will not lose if apply to a travel agent. He can be extremely helpful in planning your honeymoon as he can have ideas you might not have thought of, give advice about best places in season, hotels, prizes, everything you need to know going in unfamiliar area. He will organize your tickets, book a room in a local hotel and arrange with a guide.
6. Arrange for Documents
Be sure that al needed documents are in order: Passports and Visas, if Necessary Driver’s License. All documents must be up to date. These details are very important and can have big problems losing sight of them.
7. Protect your privacy
Be sure you keep your credit cards, cash and documents in safe place.
8. Thoroughly Plan Your Time
If you want to visit many places make a schedule beforehand. Don’t forget you were going to have a rest, reserve time for you to relax and be alone. If you wanted just to enjoy each other try also to plan your time not to be bored, consider involving the most famous places to visit. Take photos, make acquaintances. May be you’ll return that place whenever.
